Privacy policy
The short version
Knockabout is a game made by Rifyne, a trade name of Techtegrity LLC. The current version collects nothing: your progress stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. The current version of Knockabout doesn't collect, store, sell or share any personal information. It has no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party code that collects data, and you don't need an account to play. It doesn't ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos or anything else about you.
On the App Store, Knockabout's privacy label reads "Data Not Collected".
What stays on your device
Your progress (the courts you've played, your stars, coins, boosters and lives) and your settings (sound and music) are saved on your own device so the game remembers where you got to. They aren't sent to us or to anyone else, and we can't see them.
Purchases
Coins and the other things the game sells are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment; we don't see your name, your payment details or your Apple Account. Apple's privacy policy covers those purchases.
Every purchase in the game sits behind a question for grown-ups, and Apple's Ask to Buy works with it, so a child can't buy anything without an adult.
Third parties
Knockabout shares no information with anyone, because it has none to share. Apple processes App Store purchases under its own privacy policy. No other company receives anything from the game.
Children
Knockabout is made to be safe for children to play. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children, including children under 13 in the United States and under 16 in the European Union and the United Kingdom.
Keeping and deleting your information
We hold no information about you from the game, so there's nothing for us to keep, correct or delete. To erase your progress, delete Knockabout from your device; everything it saved goes with it.
Links
The only link out of the game is the one to this page, and a grown-up has to answer a question before it opens.
If you contact us
If you write to us by email or through our support form, we use your email address and what you send only to answer you. That happens outside the game and is covered by Rifyne's website privacy policy.
Changes
If a future version of Knockabout collects anything, for example because we add sign-in, we'll update this policy first. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date before that version of the game is released, and it will say what is collected and why. Where a parent's consent is needed, we'll ask for it before collecting anything from a child.
